Winter School “Material and nanomaterial surface characterization" – 26,27,28 January 2022

The Departments of Biomedical Sciences and of Chemical Sciences organize a three days Winter School with lectures, seminars, and roundtables based on the European project DIRNANO GA n° 956544: "Directing the immune response through designed nanomaterials" - H2020-MSCA-ITN-2020.

The Winter School, planned for January 26th-27th-28th, brings together all the young researchers (ESR) recruited for the project, who will meet in Padova at the ‘Fiore di Botta’ Teaching Complex. The ESRs will deepen their knowledge about the material and nanomaterial surface chemical characterization and about the immune interaction of nanoparticles.

These technologies are of fundamental importance for making vaccines or drug targeting, including mRNA / DNA, for biocompatible and effective therapeutic purposes.

The School, which foresees the presence of Experts, is also open to the PhD students of the University of Padova enrolled in the courses of Biomedical Sciences and Molecular Sciences - curriculum Chemical Sciences.
