Polymer functionalization of inorganic nanoparticles for biomedical applications

Surface modification is a crucial part in the design of inorganic nanoparticles for biomedicine. Especially, polymeric coatings are utilized to provide desired functionalities.

In this review we show recent developments in polymeric coating approaches of inorganic nanoparticles and their relation to new emerging biomedical applications.
